Fans of the megastar are excited about the prospect of Haasan’s state-wide political rally that will take off on the same day.
The 63-year-old actor will be making stops at his hometown, Ramanathapuram, where he had an ancestral house, which his family was forced to sell because of financial difficulties. The other stopovers will be Madurai, Dindigul, and Sivagangai districts during the first phase of his tour.
Haasan is also scheduled to visit his childhood school ‘Mandapam Panchayat Union Elementary School’ but protests have been rampant by school authorities claiming it to be a promotional stunt which “is harmful” for students.
Haasan, who has worked on more than 200 films including both Tamil and Hindi, will launch his party in southern Maduarai city and it will be attended by several prominent political leaders, including the Delhi chief Arvind Kejriwal.
