Fatal shooting at Northwest Houston convenience store

Update: The victim has been identified as 48-year-old male Farouk Bahuiya

Houston police have released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a male at 1621 Witte Road about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday (November 10).

The suspects are described only as two males wearing red and dark blue hoodies.  Surveillance photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Fay and T. Terry reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a convenience store at the above address and found an employee deceased from gunshot wounds.  It is believed the employee was shot during an attempted robbery.
