Bridal Extravaganza

Future brides and grooms are going to get a chance to demonstrate why Houston has become known as ‘Crush City’ on Saturday.
As a way to support the Texans, the Houston Bridal Extravaganza will be giving couples a chance to swing a sledgehammer and help destroy an Indianapolis Colts car.
“Brides and grooms usually have a ton of wedding stress. What better way to blow off some of that steam than to ‘crush’ the Colts on Saturday,” explains Laurette Veres, the producer of the Bridal Extravaganza. “We bought an old beater and had it hauled to the George R. Brown. On Friday, we’ll be spray-painting it in the Colts colors and adding their logo. Then on Saturday as soon as the doors open at 10am, couples will be able to come out swinging and put some serious dents in the Colts hopes.”
