Man taken by lifeflight after multi-vehicle accident

A man seen by witnesses walking in the middle of the street around 11 pm last night was struck by a car and then run over by a second car. Both of those drivers left without stopping and the victim was taken to Memorial Herman by life flight. He is in critical condition and we’re learning that that first car that hit him later crashed into a ditch about a quarter mile down the road. An eyewitness saw a woman get out of that car and leave. Investigators are working to identify both of those drivers who did not stop to render aid.
