Tony Buzbees gun misfires during home invasion

By: Paige Hubbard

Houston Lawyer and mayoral candidate Tony Buzbee says he was forced to protect his family when two intruders entered his River Oaks Mansion early Monday morning around 6:00am.

He along with his two children were inside the home at the time of the incident, and he says he pulled out a handgun in an attempt to scare off the buglers but the gun misfired.

Buzbee says the burglars got away with artwork and other valuables worth millions.

A report obtained by the Houston police department confirms that the loss of property is valued at several million.

He took to his Facebook page to share this message:

The suspect is still on the loose, and HPD has launched an investigation into the robbery.
