Vehicle pile-up injures 17 in Denver

Dozens of vehicles were involved in an accident near Denver International Airport on Saturday (February 16), resulting in a pile-up of cars.

Icy roads on the boulevard carrying heavy traffic contributed to 49 cars piling up and shutting the Colorado roadway.

Police said 14 people were transferred to hospitals but none of their injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
