Venezuelan Red Cross willing to help distribute aid

Venezuela’s Red Cross says they are willing to help distribute aid around the country.

Mario Villarroel, the president of the red cross there, added the aid would have to be “coordinated and distributed under fundamental criteria of neutrality, of impartiality and independence.”

The International Committee of the Red Cross has doubled its budget in recent weeks and is also helping migrants in Colombia and Brazil.

The ICRC is working with the l Red Cross, mainly on health projects, and not taking sides in the political conflict between Maduro and Juan Guaido.
