Tensions are high between India and Pakistan after 44 Indian soldiers were killed by suicide bombers.
India believes Pakistan is behind the act, but Pakistan says other they are not. Prime Minister Imran Khan says if India was to provide evidence that Pakistan played a role in the attack, he would have no problem taking action.
Since then India has taken measures into their own hands by launching air strikes on what they believe to be terrorist launch pads on Pakistani territory.
The current events have even caused tension between the Indo-American and Pakistani-American community here in Houston. Protest ensued just a week ago between both parties at the Pakistan General Consulate.
The latest update between the ongoing feuds has added another layer of tension. Just earlier this week Pakistan shot down two Indian fighter jets. A video was then released of one of the pilots being captured and being held by Pakistan.
However, he was released in what Pakistan is calling a goodwill gesture that will hopefully defuse the situation between both nuclear-armed countries.
Pakistani TV showed Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman being released while walking across the Wagah border crossing that leads into India.
