Crowds flock to Disney’s new ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ theme park in Florida

Aerial video showed people lining up around the park, eager for a first glimpse of the land’s attractions.

The centerpiece is a replica of the Millennium Falcon – Han Solo’s spaceship – which takes passengers on simulated flights, with riders able to take the position of pilot, gunner or engineer.

Disney’s first Star Wars-themed land opened in May in Anaheim, California. Analysts estimate Disney spent at least $1 billion to build the two nearly identical versions of Galaxy’s Edge.
