At least one dead in Brazil after fire breaks out in Rio hospital

According to local media, hundreds of patients and medical staff evacuated the Badim hospital in northern Rio. At least one patient has reportedly died as a result of the fires.

Local media reported the fire was brought under control just before 8pm local time (11pm GMT) and an investigation is underway into the cause of the fire. Preliminary reports put the fire at having started at a building near the hospital.
