Dozens of yogis strike a pose along US-Mexico border

“Today, we crossed energy between Juarez and El Paso by taking part in a union and an encounter through Yoga. Our objective is to invite families, so that families unite and to express ourselves in love by saying there are more of us who want a Juarez full of harmony, with prosperity and without walls,” said Yoga Instructor, Mauricio Rivera.

Yoga, a discipline that dates back thousands of years, has gained immense international prominence over the last several decades as a holistic regime for the mind and body.

The yoga session began with breathing exercise followed by stretching and various other postures.

U.S. President Donald Trump has made slashing illegal migration numbers and building a border wall a hallmark of his presidency and 2020 re-election bid.
