‘Impeach Trump’ banner greets U.S. president at baseball game

U.S. President Donald Trump was greeted with a banner calling for his impeachment when he attended a baseball game in Washington on Sunday (October 27).

Members of the audience also booed and chanted “Lock him up!” as the president appeared on screen at the World Series as part of a video package thanking U.S. troops for their service.

Trump later left the stadium one inning before the end of the game, which was won by the visiting Astros.

Trump is currently facing an impeachment inquiry in the U.S. House of Representatives to determine whether he abused his office for personal political gain.
