Las Vegas apartment fire kills 6, injures 13

Six people died and 13 were injured in a Las Vegas apartment fire on Saturday (December 21).

The blaze at the three-story Alpine Motel Apartments was called the ‘worst fire fatality’ in the Fire Department’s history, according to an official.

The fire started on the first-floor.

While its cause is under investigation, early signs pointed to an accidental heating fire, officials said.
