Eight people were injured during a stabbing attack in Colorado Springs early on Monday (January 13), according to local police.

The incident unfolded early in the morning when police, responding to a call, discovered two stabbing victims. As officers searched for the suspect, they found more victims.

Police found the suspect about a mile away from the original scene and arrested him.

An investigation is underway but police have said the stabbings appear “random.”
