H-E-B returns to Meyerland area

Meyerland Plaza officially opens the doors to its newest H-E-B store on Wednesday.

The superstore is 95,000 square feet and includes a two-level parking garage. This will be the return of Meyerland areas’ original H-E-B, which was destroyed from severe flood damage back in 2017 following Hurricane Harvey.

This new location will include a Meal Simple section, floral department, coffee roaster cafe as well as the curbside and home delivery services.

Hugh Sintic, the general manager of the store spoke to media and said,

“We have been part of the Meyerland community for more than 25 years and are proud to be back with the best of the best for our loyal customer following. This store will offer products from all over the world with a strong emphasis on our Kosher customers. It’s an honor to bring this community the options it deserves.”

Located at 4955 Beechnut Street it will operate from 6 a.m to midnight seven days a week.
