Hit and Run Crash

Houston, TX – Officials responded to reports of a crash on the 2000 block of Antoine this morning.

Dexter Platt was headed home just after midnight when he was rear ended by someone in a silver SUV. Both parties pulled over to exchange insurance information, but Platt says the driver sped off when he mentioned involving the cops.

“They were driving reckless the whole way through. In the midst of doing so they had a collision with a gate down the street and totaled the truck.” Dex said.

This further prompted Platt to contact officials as he continued to follow the fleeing SUV. Less than five minutes later the driver of the SUV collided into an iron fence.

No information has been provided on who the other individual was that was operating the SUV, however per HPD Command Center protocol, the driver was taken into custody to be checked out for a possible DWI.
