Home invader shot in Katy

KATY, TX – A home invasion in Katy ended with the suspect being shot early Friday morning.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials immediately responded to reports of a burglary located at 18714 Sandleford Rd.

The owner of the home says the man entered the home around 3:40 a.m. wearing a mask. As a result, he was shot in the arm. The suspect was transported to the hospital for his wounds and expected to survive. 

Detectives are to investigate the incident. No update has been made on any arrests or charges.
