Pig parts scattered on Hwy 59

Early Friday morning reports were called in regarding an 18-wheeler that had overturned in Rosenberg off Hwy 59 near Kroesche Road. The driver of the truck is said to be OK following such a horrific accident.

Fort Bend County Traffic Alert estimated it to be about 70,000 pounds of pork parts.

The driver told officials the crash was caused by another driver who abruptly cut him off. The other driver did not stay at the scene.

Traffic was transitioned over to just one lane as crews work swiftly to clean up the mess.
