Suspect dies in pursuit in Webster

WEBSTER, TX – An investigation is underway after a man and woman were shot and killed in their mobile home in Texas City.

The shooting took place at the Green Villa Mobile Home Community around 8:30 p.m Thursday evening. When officers arrived at the scene they found both a 39-year-old male and 45-year-old woman dead inside. Witnesses told police they say the suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored pickup truck.

Police tracked down the suspect from the Dickson area and located his truck on the 4900 block of Meadowlark. The gunman fled the scene leading both League City and Dickson PD on a car chase. The suspect crashed into a wall on the Gulf Freeway and was pronounced dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
