Four Dead in Murder Suicide in Mission Bend

MISSION BEND – An investigation is underway in Mission Bend after the Fort Bend County deputies find four dead after an apparent murder-suicide.

Early Sunday morning officials were dispatched out to perform a welfare check at a home on Sebastian Drive.

According to Sheriff Troy E. Nehls, a relative called it in around 4:15 a.m. saying she hadn’t heard from her son in several hours sparking concern.

Deputies circled the entire home, peeped through a window and discovered two deceased in the kitchen. When they were inside they found two more dead including the family dogs.

“In this case here, we have a family now that’s gone,” Nehls said. “That’s a sad day, it’s a sad day.”

Officials believe the husband identified as Ryan Brown, shot and killed his wife, two sons, and their two dogs, before shooting himself.
