Greyhound bus collision

HOUSTON – Three people have been hospitalized following a crash with a Greyhound bus near downtown last night.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. at 1901 Milam near Pierce Elevated.

Police officials say a female in a small grey sedan was traveling the wrong direction down the street when she crashed into the bus. The driver was trapped inside and firefighters had to break a window of the car to free her. She was the only occupant inside the car at the time.

Of about 30 people aboard the bus, only two passengers had to be taken to the hospital. The bus was still drivable.
