Teen fatally struck by a car in NW Harris County

HOUSTON-  Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies have confirmed a 16-year-old male has died after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle early Thursday morning. 

The crash happened near Greenhouse Road just after 2:30 a.m.

Reports say two teens were riding their bicycles when a green sedan struck one of them. The driver fled the scene.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident please contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
