HOUSTON, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirms a teen has been charged after confessing to his involvement in the stabbing attack of two missionaries on Sunday night.
17-year-old Jeffrey Ferman appeared in court Tuesday morning where he took full ownership of the attack on the victims as they lay asleep in their home on Smiling Woods Lane in northwest Harris County.
In his mugshot Ferman can be seen with scratches on his face, prosecutors say it was from the victims fighting back. Ferman confessed he had been heavily drinking prior to the incident.
“He stated he opened the unlocked door, walked into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, walked into the victim’s bedroom where they were sleeping, and started stabbing them with the knife,” prosecutors said.
He has been booked into Harris County jail with a $120,000 bond. He was charged with two counts of burglary with the intent to commit a felony.
