Harris County Launches COVID-19 Child Care Assistance Program

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A new COVID-19 Child Care Assistance Program is in the works.

Announced Tuesday, by the Harris County Commissioners, this newly created program will give thousands of families the opportunity to have financial assistance with child care, after-school programs, and virtual learning.

Grants have been approved for families who have children attending the YMCA, United Way Bright Beginnings, and the Collaborative for Children.

All expenses will be covered for the next two-to-three months.
