HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Ballet confirms the beloved Nutcracker Market has been canceled this year due to ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus. Representatives say the show will go on virtually.

Earlier this summer, the ballet announced that the 2020 Nutcracker Show would be canceled this year as well. The company wrote:

The Houston Ballet is asking for donations to “keep the company dancing” amid these unfortunate cancellations. Donations can be made at give.houstonballet.org/donate. Each dollar will be later matched by a generous grant.
