Rail-line coming to Houston-Dallas area

HOUSTON, TX – Texas Central has been given the green-light by the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Railroad Administration to proceed with plans to build a high-speed rail line connecting two of Houston’s biggest cities allowing commuters to get to and from the other in as little as 90 minutes.

The approved route will run roughly parallel to US 290 into the Houston city limits.

Construction should begin early next year according to Texas Central.
