SPRING BRANCH, TX – A Spring Branch counselor is in hot water after he is being accused of sexually preying on his troubled clients he was supposed to be helping during his time of services.
Michael Hubacek, 42, has been charged with the sexual assault of at least three of his clients at his private substance abuse treatment centers located in Spring Branch.
Hubacek was arrested early Wednesday morning where he later made an appearance in court to hear the charges he had placed upon him. His victim’s ages varying from 26 to 35 years of age.
Court documents released say Hubacek bribed one of his victims by saying, “If you do me this favor, I will do you a favor and write this letter to your judge.” The 27-year-old woman says Hubacek then proceeded to take her back to his apartment and sexually assaulted her.
Another victim, 35-years old says he forcefully sexually assaulted her leaving her with a concussion.
In January of this year, a 26-year-old woman came forward saying Hubacek initially loaned her money to purchase heroin, then too took her back to his apartment complex and sexually assaulted her.
Authorities fear there may be more victims out there and are encouraging them to reach out immediately.
