3 HISD Schools Close Tuesday After Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported

HOUSTON, TX – Just only a day after HISD students returned to in-person learning at campuses, students are encouraged to remain at home after several positive COVID-19 cases have been reported.

Three campuses have closed down on Tuesday as HISD’s health and medical services further investigate all individuals who may have come into close contact with the person infected while on campus.

Bellaire High School, Ray K. Daily Elementary and Forester Elementary all sent letters home to parents Monday notifying them of positive cases reported on campus.

Students were instructed to continue lessons virtually until further notified.
