14-year-old shot during a road rage in North Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A teen was left in critical condition after what police described to be a “road rage” altercation Monday night.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m in North Houston near W Montgomery Road. 

A woman and three teens were rushed to a local hospital after shots were fired at their vehicle during a traffic altercation. A 14-year-old inside suffered multiple gunshots and needed to be Life Flighted for her injuries. The other two teens were reported okay.

An investigation is now underway as officers are still working to get more information on the suspect or suspects involved.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
