Final Day For Small Businesses To Apply For CARES Act Funding

MISSOURI CITY, TX – Today is the last day for small businesses to enroll in the CARES ACT funding program.

If you are a resident or business owner who has suffered economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic you can qualify for rent, mortgage, and utility (RMU) grants of up to $2,500 per month.

Small Business Lease/Mortgage Assistance grants will receive up to $20,000 for qualifying businesses.

Funding will be dispensed on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be distributed until Dec. 30.

Small Business Lease/Mortgage Assistance Grant

Funded by the CARES Act, the MCTX Small Business Lease/Mortgage Assistance Grant Program is a collective effort to provide grants up to $15,000 to Missouri City small businesses still impacted by COVID-19. These supplemental funds are designed to help the most vulnerable businesses to remain open and assist with their business lease or mortgage payments. These funds may not cover all expenses but are intended to bridge the most immediate financial needs.

The program will launch on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, and small businesses may begin applying via the link below. Applicants will be assisted on a first-come, first-serve basis, until all funds are accounted for or exhausted.
