Apartment fire in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – A massive fire destroyed multiple units in an apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out in the 8300 block of Park Place Boulevard. HFD responded to the call just after midnight to a two-story apartment complex with possible parties still trapped inside.

Several families were displaced and at least two units were completely destroyed by the flames.

No major injuries were reported. Arson units are still waiting to determine the cause of the fire.
