Tuesday (January 26) marks the one year anniversary of the death of Kobe Bryant.
Bryant, one of the NBA’s all-time greatest players and an athlete of global renown, died aged 41 in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles, along with his 13-year-old daughter in 2020.
Bryant rocketed to fame as an 18-year-old rookie and played with the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years, 18 as an all-star forward, and won five NBA championships.
His death sent shockwaves through the National Basketball Association and stunned fans around the world.
