Could snow be in the forecast for Houston?

HOUSTON – Greater Houston could possibly see actual snow this upcoming weekend as a severe cold front moves into the area.

The National Weather Service announced a potential rain-snow mix to hit late Sunday. Out of precaution, today Governor Greg Abbott rostered up numerous resources to have on standby to assist.

Texans are urged to visit www.drivetexas.org throughout the weekend to be aware of the latest roadway conditions across the state.
