Cyclist possibly struck by a train near Aldine Bender

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible train collision with a cyclist early Wednesday morning near north Harris County.

Deputies say the incident happened near Old Humble and Aldine Bender roads where someone reported that a moving train may have struck a cyclist, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported shortly after 8:30 a.m.

The train came to a stop. Officials are searching the tracks.

The Old Humble Road crossing was closed.
