Drive-by shooting in Third Ward leaves two wounded

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a double shooting in Third Ward Sunday night.

The shooting was reported in front of a convenience store in the 3300 block of Anita right before midnight.

According to police, a drive-by took place leaving two people wounded and hospitalized. They are expected to survive their injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation.
