Man arrested after he steals an ambulance and drives to the drive-thru

HOUSTON – A man was arrested on Thursday after police report he stole an ambulance and drove to a fast-food restaurant.

According to HPD units, the suspect got into the ambulance and sped off while the responders were busy at an apartment complex nearby. He was later tracked at a Jack-in-the-Box food chain on Ludington Drive.

The police said the suspect was arrested without incident and an investigation will take place on why he stole the truck.
