Pedestrian struck and killed on Highway 6

HOUSTON – One pedestrian was pronounced dead after a car struck him on Highway 6.

According to HPD, a female driver was traveling Southbound on Highway 6 when she struck a pedestrian who was running outside of the crosswalk.

At least one witness stopped and provided information to the driver’s statement. No charges have been filed against the female driver yet. 

HPD will be reviewing available security camera footage to know exactly what took place.
