Teen dead after shooting in Cypress

CYPRESS, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a teen has been declared dead after a shooting in Cypress Friday afternoon.

The shooting took place in the 20200 block of Baron Brook Drive. 

At the scene, they located a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Houston Methodist West for his injuries but sucummbed to his wounds an hour later.

According to investigators, a group of juveniles along with an adult have been detained for questioning.
