Man shot and killed in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found inside a southwest Houston apartment complex.

According to Houston Police Department’s Lt. Jimmy Dodson, the victim was found around 1:00 a.m. early Tuesday morning in the 4000 block of Linkwood Drive.

The man died of an apparent gunshot wound following an altercation prior. The shooting suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

No other information is known at this time.
