Suspect wanted for fatal shooting on Sterlingshire St.

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man in the 8600 block of Sterlingshire Street around 1:25 p.m. on Feb. 6.

The suspect wanted is described as a skinny black male, last seen wearing a blue T-shirt. Witnesses reported seeing the male fleeing the scene in a burnt orange Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The victim he fatally gunned down was identified as Derrick D. Harvey Jr. 22.

Anyone with information on the identity of the person of interest in the video or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
