HOUSTON – The Houston police investigating a gruesome murder where a victim was found decapitated and partially dismembered inside his hotel room yesterday afternoon (March 15).
Units responded to a 911 call from The Palace Inn around 12:30 p.m. after the property manager Raj Das recalled he was performing his standard rounds when he discovered the body inside one of the rooms just before noon.
Investigators believe the murder happened sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight Sunday, March 14.
The victim is described by authorities as a Hispanic male in his 30s.
Police believe an altercation took place when two men and a woman arrived at the victim’s hotel room. The suspects fled the scene driving a black SUV and a blue Hyundai sedan, both reported with temporary license plates.
