One injured in home invasion shooting on W Bellfort

HOUSTON – At least one person was reported injured after a shooting during a home invasion early Friday morning.

The shooting was reported in 2700 block of West Bellfort just before 5 a.m. 

At the scene, HPD units located a male and a female resident who were the victim of the home invasion where the suspects broke into their home and demanded money, before shooting the male in his arm and fleeing.

According to the residents, there were multiple suspects but officers did not reveal how many there were.

An investigation is underway.
