Shapovalov, Rublev advance in late action at Miami Open

Canada’s Denis Shapovalov defeated Ilya Ivashka of Belarus 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the Miami Open on Saturday (March 27).

Shapovalov, seeded sixth, lost the first set tie break but came back to win the rain-affected match in just over three hours.

Fourth seed Andrey Rublev of Russia eased past American Tennys Sandgren, winning 6-1, 6-2.
