HARRIS COUNTY – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office website, Nikki Reardon, 32, of Baytown, was booked Monday in the Harris County Jail on charges of tampering with a human corpse, child endangerment, prostitution and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
The arrest came more than six months after Reardon’s infant daughter, Zaydea Danyelea Rainer, was discovered dead at the Scottish Inn and Suites in late September.
On Sept. 29, Baytown police responded to a report of a body found at the hotel, KHOU reported. Following a standoff with Reardon, who was armed, authorities discovered a pink duffel bag with the dead baby inside, according to the news outlet.
Her bonwas set to $35,000.
