Man killed in auto-pedestrian crash in northwest Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – A pedestrian was killed late Monday after a car struck him on a northwest Harris County road. 

Sgt. D. Cheek of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office vehicular crimes division said a driver was traveling westbound on the 8100 block of W. Little York Road when a man in his 50s stepped into the road. 

The unidentified pedestrian died from his injuries after being struck by the car. 

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

No charges have been filed against the driver yet.
