HOUSTON – A woman was shot and injured during an altercation with a man Sunday night at a Houston-area crawfish boil, officials said.

Lt. Paul Bruce of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said people gathered for the boil in the 2500 block of East Wallisville in Highlands when an argument broke out and the suspect allegedly shot the woman. The victim suffered gunshot wound to the abdomen.
