Man breaches White House outer fence, tackled by police

Secret Service agents chased down and apprehended a man who crossed an outer barrier in front of the White House on Friday (July 30), NBC reported.

Video of the incident showed the man, who was wearing shorts and a pink shirt, being chased across Pennsylvania Avenue by two officers, then hopping a barrier into Lafayette Square, across the street from the White House.

He is then tackled to the ground by several Secret Service agents.

NBC reported that the man did not reach the main fence in front of the White House North Lawn, which is accessible from Pennsylvania Avenue.
