Son shot in neck by father during altercation, FBCSO says

HOUSTON – Investigation is underway after a father shot his son following an altercation Tuesday afternoon, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported in the parking lot of a Whole Foods store located at 6645 S Fry Road.

Detectives at the scene told that a man ended up in a physical altercation with his adult son. During the course of the altercation, the father discharged his weapon once, striking his son in the neck.

The victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. 

The father was seen cooperating with the investigation.
