Teen girl dies after jumping out of moving car during argument with mom, deputies say

HOUSTON – A teenager girl has died after she jumped out of a moving car during argument with her mother, according to Houston police.

The argument happened around 8:00 p.m. Monday as the mother and daughter were travelling southbound on I-45 at FM 1960.

Deputies said the 15-year-old died at the scene as she jumped out of the moving vehicle. 

It is unknown if another vehicle struck the female, deputies said. 

Investigation is underway.
