HOUSTON – Ponderosa fire along with several other allied agencies responded to a commercial fire at 1055 W FM 1960 Tuesday night.
Fire crews located a one-story commercial building with heavy smoke and fire showing. Firefighters used ladder trucks to control the blaze.
According to HCFMO’s Rachel Neutzler, the building suffered a partial collapse and the roof fell in. The building was an old bank that was converted into a dental office.
HCFMO also confirmed the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
